On July 6th, the San Jose Watercolor Group is hosting a summer painting session for those inclined to dabble. The focus is on watercolor and capturing a bit of that summer vibe, so expect some attempts at sunshine and maybe a flower or two. Think less "artistic genius unveils their magnum opus" and more "let's see if we can get paint on the paper without too much spillage."

This class is apparently quite chill and suitable for beginners, so you won't need to have any prior experience beyond knowing which end of the brush to hold. It's also set up for some outdoor painting, which sounds pleasant, assuming the weather cooperates and your art doesn't attempt a spontaneous flight. Just a heads up that it's on.
