Pumpkins in the Park is about to draw in a crowd bigger than your cousin's annual chili cook-off. It's a delightful day for families to gather, munch on some snacks, and maybe even snag a picturesque selfie with a pumpkin that's more photogenic than most of us. Not to mention, it's a chance to marvel at the Guadalupe River Park, which is basically nature's way of flexing on the concrete jungle.

So if you're up for some autumn shenanigans and a chance to appreciate our local green space, grab your friends and family and head over. It's not every day you get to celebrate fall and pretend you can carve a pumpkin without ending up with more seeds on your shirt than in the actual pumpkin.
